CHH's state-of-the-art equipment and personnel are
qualified to come on-site and administer noise level measurements
that assess the work environment and objectively determine the criteria
for compliance with the elements of a company's Hearing Conservation
Program. The Noise Survey Report presented soon after the on-site
project thoroughly documents the results, including the identification
of areas where employees may be exposed to potentially harmful noise
and are, therefore, required to utilize suitable hearing protection,
participate in annual hearing testing, and receive preventive care
instruction.
A company-wide noise assessment can generally be accomplished in
one day. The fee for service includes a preliminary walk-through,
comprehensive noise monitoring measurements, and the written evaluation.
Note: It is important to reassess the noise levels whenever there
is a change in production, process, equipment, or noise related
controls to re-establish ongoing compliance and appropriate preventive
care.
